Zephyr is a realistic conceptual B&M launched inverted roller coaster. A "breeze" might be what a guest would describe this coaster. Reaching speeds of excess of 48 mph in just 2.5 seconds and power housing through 5 inversions in just under a minute of nearly 2200 feet of track, with a maximum height of 88.5 ft, it is not for the faint of heart. This one is for the white knucklers as it reaches a maximum vertical force of +4.7 for half a second; whipping, twisting you in every way possible within 40 seconds.
This is my first attempt at a realistic "mini park" within NoLimits 2. This project has been in the works for at least 4 months and I honestly believe I captured the scene of the park very well, even though my initial intention wasn't to create a mini park within it. When I first started out in the design process of the layout some time back, I had the idea of making it a "launch prototype" design since it would be the first of its kind; adding on to it's somewhat slower speed and shorter track length in comparison to the average B&M Invert (think Talon or Great Bear). I kinda wanted a design of what would be a combination of the newer style of the later gen inverts and the very earlier ones. As a result, the first half of the ride focuses more on "gracefulness" while the second half's primary focus point is the intensity. The coaster also features a custom sound kit for the trains; hosting the infamous "B&M roar" seen on most inverts like Afterburn and Raptor. Be aware I will be releasing these sounds as an improved "coaster sounds kit" very soon once I finish finalizing everything for it.
Lastly, for those that would like to watch the video of the ride, here is a link:
