Skylancer

Skylancer is my interpretation of the ultimate Dive Machine. I finished the track design right before school started in the 2016 Fall semester. Work stopped altogether until the semester was over and then was kicked into maximum overdrive. I thought it might be possible to finish it before school started back up again - boy was I wrong. Luckily I was able to squeeze work on it in with school. Not much else to say... I think the coaster speaks for itself. I hope you all enjoy!

This is an excellent dive coaster! This would easily be the best one if it was real. The launch is really good, but the rest of the ride is even better. It has a lot of the elements that B&M dive coasters usually have, making it realistic, but there are enough unique elements to make it pretty interesting. The forces are also realistic, but also pretty forceful, and the ride is incredibly smooth. I also like the attention to detail with all the landscaping, queue, scenery, etc. It's not over the top or anything, but it also helps to make it seem like a real coaster in a real park. Great job!

This coaster is overall just amazing - not perfect but there is very little to complain about. You did a great job at creating it's surrounding which doesn't only look realistic, I really like the way everything is built in between the track so there are no empty places. The models you used work great with each other (What I mean is you didn't throw together different styles. Nothing feels out of place). Additionaly what I noticed is that you paid a lot of attention to the coaster supports. Those are by far my favorite thing about this coaster itself. I myself am a person who looks at the littlest details on real coasters and I see a lot of little changes B&M makes and I have to say that you are definitely doing the same judging from those minor details. You used the latest style of support B&M has (The insane angle the supports are positioned at; the amount of supports and the angle of each beam. B&M used to have an A-Shape on the support of the first drop but now it's an |\-Shape and you really took a lot of the real newer coasters. Same goes for the track physics: If you compare Valravn to Sheikra you notice that the track bends sharper on the end of the drop so you have a longer time of free falling before, which - again - you paid attention to. (Even if those are minor changes they have a big impact on the Dive Coaster experience. It's also the reason why I like the drop of Baron 1898 more than Krake's) and the Tie spacing is perfect as well. All these extremely small details lead me to give you almost the perfect score for Technical things but I couldn't resistdeduct a tiny bit for the end of the launch and the Immelmann before the MCBR. The magnets got to far, they shouldn't reach into the little dip and the Immelmann as the train is slightly to fast on the highest point (yes I am pernickety but I am still waiting for someone to make the perfect coaster and this one is my new favorite). I don't like that the NL Exchange doesnt have a rating for scenery because that would be a 10 for sure. Next up Adrenaline but there is not a lot to say here. B&M is famous for making not the most intense coasters and especially Dive Coasters many enthusiasts consider one trick ponies. Not including me - I am a huge fan (Well I agree that they aren't really intense but I love the free falling which you can't get even near as good on other coaster types) Last but not least the Originality: You executed launched dive coaster concept very well and it is a unique idea however I saw that concept done mediocrely on youtube before but it's still unique. Usually there always is someone who had the idea before so it's not a big of a deal. When it comes to B&Ms originality is always hard to do because they have very strict characteristics but as a dive coaster you did a great job. I like that after the first immelmann the coaster doesn't slam immediatly into the MCBR which in real life I don't like about these. More action before the second drop I always desired but never happened so thank you for making my dream come true at least in the virtual world :D

Whooohoooo!!! Beautiful and fun ride! I love the flow... the start was fun, and I love the tunnel drop!!! Great job balancing everything in this... the scenery ties it all in beautifully! Very smooth, powerful but still only around a 3/5 on intensity. When I was growing up, I was always looking for a coaster like this for friends who didn't want to get on the biggest rides right off. It's the perfect "ride it all day" ride.
